Domestic tariff — effective 1 January 2026
NEPRA's national uniform tariff for calendar-year 2026 left domestic energy rates unchanged from the previous determination and introduced fixed per-kW monthly charges for most consumers. LESCO bills on exactly these slabs — the tariff is uniform across all distribution companies.

|---|---|---|---|
| Lifeline | 0 – 50 | 3.95 | None |

| Non-protected | 501 – 600 | 41.62 | |

Base energy rates per NEPRA's national uniform domestic tariff determination, effective 1 January 2026 (calendar-year 2026) — the same uniform tariff applies to LESCO and all distribution companies. Reported by Pakistan Today and The News. These are energy charges only — your bill adds FPA, 18% GST, TV fee and surcharges. Verify current rates at nepra.org.pk or on your bill.
Protected vs non-protected
Protected means subsidised: households that stayed at or below 200 units keep the lower rates. Cross 200 units and protected status — and its cheaper slabs — go away. Lifeline is an extra concession for very low use (up to 100 units) with no fixed charges at all. Your bill states your category; our calculator follows the same rules.
Beyond the table
The table shows base energy rates only. Real bills add monthly Fuel Price Adjustment, 18% GST, TV fee, surcharges and (where applicable) meter rent and arrears.
