How to File a LESCO Complaint

Fastest ways to reach LESCO

Call 118

The LESCO helpline for complaints — wrong bills, meter problems, outages. Have your reference number ready before you dial.

Online complaint portal

LESCO's website (lesco.gov.pk) links an online complaint system where you can file and track complaints with a tracking number.

LESCO also operates SMS-based complaint services — check lesco.gov.pk for the current shortcode, as these change from time to time.

Disputing a wrong bill

1
Compare readings first. Look at the "current reading" on the bill, then read your actual meter. Bill reading higher than the meter? That's solid evidence of an error or estimated billing.
2
Photograph the meter with the reading and meter number clearly visible.
3
File the complaint — 118 or the online portal — quoting your reference number, bill number and the correct reading.
4
Save the tracking number. No resolution? Escalate to your sub-division office, then to NEPRA's complaint cell.

Everyday complaints

  • Bill never arrives: report chronic non-delivery to your sub-division office; in the meantime, check and print bills online.
  • Outages: report on 118 and keep the complaint number for follow-ups.
  • Voltage issues: persistent low or high voltage damages appliances — report it to the sub-division office in writing.
